Make Up Review: Nichido Lip Pencils in Rosette and Blaze

Hi Derps!
This would be my first time to take a make- up review since I am so addicted to make-up products.

Okay, First of all pardon me if my grammars are not as good as any bloggers.  Or anyone who are very proficient in English

I’ve been using Nichido Lipstick products since I started to work in a very demanding company. That was Nichido Matte Lipsticks in coral shade. ( forgot the name eh). It really glides on a normal lips but not in a dry lips as mine. Since it’s a matte lippie, they also added gloss if you are into matte. Praise God!
Anyway, Nichido Lip Pencils has 3 to 4 color, I think? But I only get 2 for the mean time. I bought the Rosette and Blaze. I really love rose color on my lips. It looks so youthful and fresh. That’s why I choose Rosette. But unfortunately, Rosette looks nude on my lip. I bought it at Watsons for 100php, very affordable right?

I  am fan of pin-up make-up style like Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn. Winged-Eye Liner on eyes and a bold red lips was very sexy look to me (Rarrr..). And this Blaze lip pencil was a really good start if you want to achieve very prominent red lips like Anne Curtis. It was also a hundred bucks in Robinson’s Dept. Store.

This two lip pencil was very pigmented as I made a swatch on it.

I also tried it my lips. NOTE: You have to use lip balm before applying the product for a good result.

The product weighs 0.04 oz. Or 1.14g. Allergy-tested and expires after 2years upon opening.

PROS and CONS:

-         This lip pencils is very helpful special for those starters like me who wanted to achieve defined lips
-          What I hate about this product? The tip of this lip pencil easily broke because of it’s semi-creamy texture. That’s why you have to get some extra care while sharpening.
-          A 100php is a worth.
-          The quality of this product was impressive.
-          Great color for Pinays.
-          I doesn’t stay too long, you need to re-apply specially after you ate or drink.

MY VERDICT:
*I personally love this product, For now. Will I buy this again? Of course! Until I don’t see any lip pencil that will suits me much.

That’s it, pancit! See you on my next blog..

Ba-bye!

LoveLots,

Derp

Pangasinan Escapade Pt.2

OUR LADY OF MANAOG CHURCH – MANAOG, PANGASINAN

This would be one of my greatest experience this year. Since I’m a Catholic person, it is a fulfillment for me  to see and be here in this well-known pilgrimage in the Philippines.  In every church that I came on, I prayed and talked to God all things I am taking now. Church are my place where I can feel the solemnity. Where I can speak out what’s on my mind and what I feel.

Petitions and Thanksgiving Letter from Devotees.

One of the best thing you can do while you are in this place is to feel the holyness surrounding the place.  The church was just like typical churches here in Manila like Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Baclaran, ParaƱaque and Quiapo Church in Manila. A lot of retail store was surrounded in Our Lady of Manaog. They also sell rosary, prayer booklet and other stuffs. You can also visit their museum which you can see different things used by previous diocese leaders even their personal belongings.

And at the back of the church, there was a small but beautiful garden with koi fish pond. It also had a station of the cross statues for devotees.

I didn't get a chance to take some photos on candle lightning prayer or I guess I must say CandleVigil and Prayer area. You have to pay for minimum amount for candles from small sizes up to bigger and special candles. And oh, before I close my shared experience here in Manaog, they also give blessing rituals to all cars and other vehicles. They made a schedule for that, Saturdays or Sundays?hmm..I'm not quite sure about it. I bought some rosaries and key chains for my family. It priced like what we have here in Manila. But, the thing I bought for my self is a mini statue of Our Lady of Manaog. And it only cost me to pay for only 50php!Good buy right? And very helpful for my religious dedication.

I'll come back here. Whether it's far or so tiring to get here, I still wanted to come back. And it's a promise.

CALASIAO CHURCH and CALASIAO TEMPORARY PUBLIC MARKET- Calasiao, Pangasinan

Inside the Church, there is a wedding ceremony held while taking this photo.

After we take a short tour on Manaog, We headed back to Calasiao. Not to rest but get some lunch and also to continue our trip here in Pangasinan. We had our lunch in Pizza Hut-Nepo Mall. Their Meatballs Spaghetti was not good as I expected. It taste awful. I've tasted a lot of Meatballs Spaghetti. But this varient was not in my taste bud. Anyway, as we continue our "pamamasyal " being a "bakasyonistas", we go now to Calasiao to buy Puto Calasiao for "pasalubongs" which are very familiar and popular delicacies in this place.

When we came here last year, I never got a chance to see this church ( where in a hurry that time! ). Or maybe because we directly came to Calasiao Market. A quick trivia to give, this church was built since 1930's. And it's now under reconstruction. Since it's my first time to lay my feet here, I was so amazed by this church. Oh my, I'm home!I feel so relax while seeing the place. This is one of a good spot for wedding ceremonies. I prayed for a moment before we buy pasalubongs.

I really wanted to have quality photos, but I can't! (so bad). I may not be a photographer, but I can put good story behind it.

This would be our last day and trip here in Pangasinan. But before we come back in Manila, I don't want to miss a chance to bought this Puto Calasiao!!!(I'm so hooked up on this after my first time to taste this fluffy like little food).

I've known this food when I was watching way, way, way back 2000 in a local TV program. I eaten a lot of Puto but this one is so interesting to taste. They also had different colors of Puto but with same taste and flavor ( nothing so special for that). They also sell delicacies like Panutsa, Macapuno (It don't taste good!), Ube Halaya ( one of our favorite, but they don't have it na!huhuhu ) and other local delicacies that you may see here in Manila. Puto Calasiao cost 80php/kilo. And I bought 2 kilos! (was that horrible?hehehe). My siblings also wanted this that's why I bought a lot.

So, this is it!This would be the end of my Pangasinan trip!See you on my next blog, Bye!! :-)

Pangasinan Escapade 2013 pt. 1

We've been here last year for a formal ocassion of my boyfriend's cousin. Which his sister was one of the entourage. I've heard a lot great things about Pangasinan, from his father up to his other siblings. Since I recently left my work at that time, I decided to come over with them. It takes 5-8 hours to get there from here in Manila but, you really have to get up early if you wanted a minimal traffic of EDSA. We only stay there for 1 day and 2 nights ( I guess??) because of his sister's work. But now, we came back! for a real vacation.

DAWEL RIVER CRUISE in Dagupan, Pangasinan

After a night of rest in his cousin's house, we decided to experience the Dawel River Cruise. It is one of Dagupan's Tourist attraction. According to Dagupan Local Government website, It is a 45 minute cruise  along the river and a perfect spot for couples. So, we are all really excited to be there to feel the river and to get some pictures also. But then, we only get disappointed. The man on that picture said that the cruise had been stop sine June 3, 2013 for their boat maintenance. Duhhhh....Dagupan Local Government website really need an update about this.

What we only did was to catch up some photos from there. I love what they did on their fish statues. Very artistic and colorful. It would be nice if we could only get by on that cruise. Sayang talaga.

CAPITOL BEACHFRONT in LINGAYEN, PANGASINAN

Actually, it is part of our itinerary to visit this place. But before we start to walk on, we feel hungry that's why  we take our lunch in CSI Lucao Mall. After that, we proceed to Lingayen Beach. It takes 30-45 Minutes from Dagupan to Capitol ( if you are familiar to that place ). A cost of 30php per head if you take jeep. I don't know how much it cost for other utility vehicles. Since we are all newbies on that place, we really don't know where to drop by. Their cousin ask for someone who knows the place ( in Pangalatok language ). The good news? we are in Lingayen, but the bad news is, lumagpas na daw kami..So we get tricycle service to take us in Capitol Beachfront EXACTLY!.

Finally, we are really there!I was really fascinated and thrilled when it comes to beaches. My boyfriend said that the sand on this beach was from Mt. Pinatubo's eruption way back 1990's? ( i dont't know the exact year eh!) according to his Lola. It has a white gray sand and clear sea water. The place was really nice and clean because people on that area really protect and maintain the beautiful aura of Lingayen Shoreline. Anyway, we enjoyed our stay even in short time doing anything like taking photos, drinking, swimming and our all time favorite "Videoke" hahaha..
